About the festival

EBU Folk Festival is an event of European as well as world contemporary and popular music based on folkloric traditions. The festival is organized annually under the auspices of the European Broadcasting Union and hosted by different European countries. Participants are ensembles and soloists selected in line with EBU Radio standards and regulations. The selections are conducted exclusively by public radio members of the European Broadcasting Union whose headquarters are in Geneva.
